La moneta di sinistra è un asse RRC 193/1, zecca di Roma; emesso tra il 169 ed il 158 a. per Crawford.

In virtù della legenda TVRD (VR legate) sopra la prora, Crawford ipotizza che il monetiere sia il figlio di C. Papirius Turdus.

La moneta di destra è probabilmente una emissione anonima dell'86 a.C., ossia un semisse RRC 350B/1. Moneta non comune.

Molto interessante.
