Attratto dallo stile sorprendentemente dinamico, ho combattuto e vinto con un hammer pari a 200 CHF questo (a mio modesto giudizio) inusuale e sorprendente triobolo macedone.

MACEDON. Akanthos. Circa 430-390 BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 15 mm, 2.34 g). Forepart of bull to left, his head turned back to right. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. SNG ANS 31-32. Bright, clear and well-centered. Good very fine.

Non conoscevo questo tetrobolo a incuso quadrato quadripartito con recessi granulari, mentre sapevo di questa tipologia con il fiore da cui prende il nome la città di Acanto sopra la testa del toro
