1913 Liberty Head nickel - Is it original?

 

Only 5 coins were struck with this date, and they are in museums or private collections of the greatest american collectors. Their value today is 3-4 million dollars each.

Nickels in 1912 does not have:

 

   - the arcuate cavity between the rim and the "denticles";

  - Protruding the fragments between the "denticles."

This is the famous Walton specimen, it's real, of course. It was lost, and was found, and dozens of american experts said that it was the original coin...why you ask if it is original? I think that there are no doubts.

Errors could be possible for other coins, but this coin is too important...it's not only a coin, it's a monument.

 

So, with all due respect to you and your numismatic knowledge, certainly great, I still think it's impossible that this coin is a fake and, anyway, it's impossible to prove it only by a photo.
