Ma sembra bronzo. E che cosa le hanno fatto in faccia, pare quasi riconiata. O c'è una contromarca?

È una testa maschile barbata e il metallo è il bronzo. Non siamo in Magna Grecia ma molto più a Est....

As I do not collect bronze I could not recognise the coin with the Athena side only ? But now that I see both sides, I think Parviz misattributed the coin, it doesn't make much sense to have M-A and say it's from Kalymnos...In my opinion it's from Methymna, similar to this one:

Giustissima osservazione e a questo punto non può essere che più che un uomo barbato effettivamente  sia il profilo rovinato di Atena????
