Salve

- Faustina I Denario "Augusta Series-Ceres" Faustina I "Senior" AD 138-141Denarius - "The Augusta has died, long live the Augusta" Obv: DIVA FAVSTINA - Bust right, draped Rev: AVGVSTA - Ceres stand left, holding torch and pulling on a fold of her skirt. Rome mint AD 141 = RIC 362 - Cohen 104

da un'altra descrizione:

- This piece was minted in the name of Faustina Senior, the wife of Antoninus Pius, who died in 141 AD, and was honored with an extensive series of commemorative coinage. The obverse of this piece depicts the draped bust of Faustina facing right, with legends DIVA.FAVSTINA. The reverse features Ceres, veiled, standing left, holding torch and raising her robe, with legend AVGVSTA.
