Mai vista, però la figura seduta dovrebbe essere BRITANNIA (tridente, scudo con Union Jack). Direi quindi di origine, uhm, britannica B)

Ritengo che, come un'altra medaglia proposta recentemente in questo forum, sia un "gettone"... probabilmente può essere il gettone di accesso ad un museo o ad una esposizione...

Ho detto "probabilmente"... potrebbe essere di qualsiasi atra cosa, non credo che sia molto moderna, risale perlomeno alla fine dell'800
