che data e` questa ?

e` un emissione autonoma della citta` di tyro in fenicia , la data son le 3 lettere in campo

dovrebbe essere datata al 100-150 ad circa

quanto vale secondo voi ? (era in un lotto che ho comprato al mercatino oggi e mi serve per sapere se l ho pagato troppo )

E' effettivamente una moneta di Tiro, ma la legenda è greco non fenicio. Eccone alcuni esempi (con date diverse):

1) Phoenicia, Tyre. Civic issue. Æ 16mm (3.33 gm). Struck Year 247 (121/122 AD). Turreted head of Tyche right; palm branch behind / Palm-tree; date ZMC in left field. BMC Phoenicia pg. 266, 346.

2) Tyre, autonomous bronze coin of 15.2 mm, 3.22 grams. Struck and dated to 121/122 AD.

Obverse: Turreted bust of Tyche to right.

Reverse: Palm tree.

Reference: British Museum Catalog 346.

3) Tyre, autonomous bronze coin of 15.4 mm, 3.18 grams. Struck at

the mint of tyre, 2-1 centuries BC.

Obverse: Turreted bust of Tyche to right.

Reverse: Palm tree.

4) Tyre. Civic coinage. Æ 14-15. A.D. 130/131.
