The Congress 200th Anniversary Commemorative Half Dollar was a coin that was minted by the United States Mint in the year of 1989. This coin was minted to recognize the 200th anniversary of the United States Congress, which is the main lawmaking body in the United States. One dollar and five dollar versions were also minted, as well as sets of all of the coins minted, both uncirculated and proof.
