Prova di conio in piombo di una moneta romana

Volevo segnalare questa prova di conio con il busto di un imperatore sul diritto e l’imperatore a cavallo sul rovescio, interessante perchè dà un’idea della patina del piombo antico.


LEAD TRIAL STRIKE, 4th century AD. An interesting trial strike of a Roman coin in lead. Diademed hd. of uncertain emperor right/Emperor on horseback. 25 x 25 x 6 cm. Original condition with ancient lead patina.
