KINGS OF PAEONIA. Lykkeios, circa 359-335 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 13.20 g, 8 h), Astibos or Damastion. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. [ΛY]KK-EIOY Herakles standing left, strangling the Nemean lion; to right, bow and quiver. Paeonian Hoard 72. SNG ANS 1021. Boldly struck from fresh dies. Very light doubling on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
